VINYL

Originally, Echos approached me for a logotype, which was the catalyst for the visual language we would develop for this release, and quickly evolved into a clean and modern, yet dark and gothic playful branding system throughout this release.

This vinyl packaging consists of a sleeve, a two-page insert lyric booklet, as well as an opaque blood-red vinyl variant.

BRANDING & TYPE

Below are shown some branding elements created for Echos for this releases visual language.

The catalyst for this releases visual style started with the Echos blackletter logotype - a completely custom logotype, with a modern geometric take on traditional blackletter.

The subsidiary crucifix emblem was made from shapes and elements within the logotype to create a cohesive style, and represent her branding even when the logotype itself is not present.

MERCHANDISE

Alongside the branding and packaging for the album, I was also tasked with creating merchandise to coincide with the projects release.

Below is a curated collection of merchandise designs for 'Quiet, In Your Service', all emanating a dark, modern, and gothic feel.

RELEASE EVENT

I created several promotional posters for the albums release event, with this one being my favourite.

Originally, the piece was a glowing neon sign made from the crucifix emblem, bathed in smoke to really sell the feel of space and atmosphere.

During the preparation for the event, the LA Wildfire crisis began, and we decided to rework the poster and reduce the smoke effect as it was now inappropriate, given the event was taking place in LA. Below is the original work in progress concept.

TATTOO FLASH

During the album release event, Echos opened up stalls for local artists and food stalls, as well as a few local tattoo artists.

I pitched the idea of designing some branded tattoo flash for the event, for her most dedicated fans.

Below are the designs, as well as a few photos of them being tattooed on event-goers by the talented Isabella Sangre of Masochist Tattoos.
