Hi! My name is Chris Gallagher
I’m a graphic designer, digital artist, and art director from Birmingham, UK. I specialise in designing cover art, merchandise, and branding packages for artists, clothing brands, and other entities within the music industry.
With almost a decade of creative work under my belt, and with almost 5 years working under the alias of “Misery Take Me”, I’ve produced hundreds of projects for my incredible and diverse clientele across a variety of mediums.
About my work
A great deal of my work draws inspiration from horror, metal, punk, and gothic aesthetics. I have a love for the abstract; blurs, glows, obscured faces, and distressing them with grit, grain, and other textures.
Breaking trends and traditions and re-integrating them with modern design and dark styles of art is where I thrive; spinning my own unique nostalgic and weathered twist on contemporary pieces and blurring the lines between art and design.
